1. Scope and intent
Google Rclone Sync is a private, internal-use application operated by PROTECH NETWORK CORP, a United States–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Application exists solely to support file synchronization and backup operations using rclone.
2. Google data access
If authorization is granted, the Application may access Google data according to the OAuth scopes approved by the operator. This may include:
- Google Drive files and metadata (currently in use)
- Google Photos data (planned for future use but not currently active)
The Application accesses only the minimum data required to perform its intended functions.

- Support troubleshooting and operational maintenance
The Application does not use Google data for advertising, analytics, tracking, profiling, or data resale.
4. Data storage and retention
Data synchronized by the Application may be stored on systems controlled by the operator for backup and operational purposes.
Authentication credentials and access tokens are handled at a high level using standard OAuth mechanisms and are retained only as necessary to maintain authorized access.
5. Data sharing
The Application does not sell or share Google user data with third parties. Data may be disclosed only if required by law or to protect system security.
6. Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect data. No system can guarantee absolute security.
7. User controls
Access can be revoked at any time through Google Account settings. Once revoked, the Application will no longer be able to access Google services.
8. Children’s privacy
This Application is not directed to anyone under the age of 13 and is not designed to collect information from children.
9. Google API Services compliance
Use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
